This is a rare opportunity for you to buy a unique Belt Drive 29er mountain bike frame

1. Belt Drive compatible 16.5” (small), 29er frame, made by Norco from Reynolds 525 Chromoly tubing
2. Rear dropout hardware
3. Seatpost clamp
4. Headset assembly

None of the other parts described are being sold and are just bike build information.

The frame is from my Norco 29er Judan Belt Drive Single Speed MTB and is 2 years old. It is perfectly sound with just cosmetic scuffs and marks from use, as can be seen in some of the pictures. All the specs of the original bike can be viewed at http://www.norco.com/archives/2011/?id=judan-belt There are a bunch more pictures of the frame at https://picasaweb.google.com/sdibble285/29erBelt...
The 16.5” frame is perfect for a person around 173cm in height and can be used with a conventional chain drive, or the seat stay separates to add a belt and create a bike with character. The frame will take the Gates Carbon Drive system with a 46T front sprocket, 28T rear cog and 118T Belt. This has a chain equivalence of roughly 32/20 ratio. The Belt Drive components can be sourced locally or I have used http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/index.ph...

The rear dropouts slide to tension the belt and the rear wheel can be dropped out of the frame easily for removal or repair. A belt is much more durable and less bother than a chain, with no oil or mess.

The fork requires 1,1/8” steerer
Bottom bracket is 68mm
Seat tube is 27.2mm
