I am selling a used Giant Trance X0 Mountain Bike (Trail/All-Mountain crossover type) in exceptional condition with no damages whatsoever and just a few normal usage marks.

This is the 2009 year model (note: bought beginning 2010) with a 16” frame S size and it was the most high-end model in the Trance range (to be fully accurate there was also a Carbon frame version at that time, this one being the Aluminium one but all the components are exactly the same). Please note that Giant have changed substantially their range and as a consequence the Trance X0 I am selling has nothing to do with the current Trance models and is considerably higher-end.

It is remarkably equipped with:
- Top of the range full Shimano XTR drivetrain and XTR shifters;
- Top of the range Fox shock RP23 (5.0” frame travel);
- Top of the range Fox fork TALAS RLC 32 (100-120-140mm adjustable travel);
- Top of the range Avid Elixir CR brakes;
- High-end Mavic Crossmax ST UST wheels;
- Fully adjustable 2013 Rockshox Reverb seatpost;
- Carbon components.

I have always maintained the bicycle myself and I like things to be clean and in perfect working order so you’ll get a bicycle which is really in exceptional condition ready to go on the trails immediately, it has also been upgraded from stock with many different things (check the list below). I am also quite light so the bike has definitely never been hammered.

This is the list of what has been upgraded/changed/added:
- Rockshox Reverb adjustable seatpost (2013 model, 125mm drop);
- Continental X-King 2.2 Tubeless UST Front/Rear in good condition;
- ODI Troy Lee Designs lock-on grips (a few months old);
- Shimano SPD Pedals PD-M647 dual-mode (classic with normal shoes or with Clipless SPD);
- Lizard Skins chain stay protector;
- New Jagwire Mountain Pro shifter cables sleeves (carbon black);
- New Jagwire Mountain Pro hydraulic hose (carbon black);
- New Shimano XTR chain;
- New brake pads, levers & callipers have also been fully reconditioned and purged recently;
- Drive train fully cleaned up;
- Wheels have been trued a few months ago;

You’ll also get these for free with the bike:
- ABUS Centuro 860 110cm Bike Lock (high-quality, strongest flexible I could find, good length);
- 2 x brand new Formula Disc Brake rotors (160mm);
- Seals pack to fully recondition one brake lever (if needed in the future);
- Brand new spare 2013 EA50 Stem (8° 31.8 75mm);
- Giant compact pump (w/ pressure gauge) with bracket to attach to bike;
- Lezyne floor pump (w/ pressure gauge);
- A few various spare parts for several components.

This is also a very good looking bike which rides comfortably with excellent performance levels and a light weight (12.3 kg total); It can handle very easily both trails/XC-type terrain but also very rough/technical terrain and even reasonable drops (~1-1.5 m). Both front shock and rear suspension can be locked for excellent pedalling efficiency during any severe climbs. It is perfectly adapted for any riding in Sydney/Blue Mountains region (e.g. Mount Annan, Loftus, Ourimbah, Appin, Oaks Fire Trail, Red Hill, etc…).

Reason for selling is simply the unexpected decision to switch to a new bike otherwise I would definitely have kept it.

RRP for this bike was around $8,000 plus all the upgrades/accessories (~$1,000+).

Selling conditions are the following:
- Please only serious buyers;
- Local pick up is available in Sydney;
- I can ship Australia wide but shipping costs will be at your charge, I know a good courier so price should be quite reasonable;
- Payment is preferred by Internet Banking before delivery or Cash on pickup.
