Price:
500.00

Up for sale is a bike composed of various parts including a Specialized Epic frame (I think it is a size S but I need to confirm this with Specialized via the serial number) with the first generation Brain rear shock, a 2006 Rock Shox Reba SL fork and parts from a 2005 Kona Cinder Cone. The bike was assembled in 2006 and was mostly ridden from 2006 to 2008. It was in storage from 2010 until last month.

The bike was just serviced in April. The original Hayes HFX-9 disc brakes have been replaced with a new set of Shimano BR-M395 brakes and new shifter cables/housing have been installed. I'm 5'8" and the bike is a good fit for me. The bike is pretty heavy for an XC bike, weighing in at 13.4kg without pedals.

Main list of components
- Specialized Epic size S/M frame from 2002/03
- Rock Shox Reba SL fork with 100mm of travel and remote lockout from 2006
- Specialized Brain rear shock (first generation)
- Maxxis Larsen TT tyres (26” x 2.0”)
- Easton EA50 XC-style flat handlebars
- Shimano Deore LX front and rear derailleurs with Shimano Deore RapidFire shifters
- Brand new Shimano BR-M395 brake levers, callipers and pads
- 11-32 Rear cassette with a 44/32/22 triple chainring up front

Note that the wheelset has Schrader valves instead of Presta valves.

Included with the sale
- a pair of Shimano PD-M505 SPD pedals
- various 26" inner tubes
