Cannondale Jekyll, size Large.

This was my first dual suspension bike and led to me falling in love with the sport. Over the last few years it has been extensively upgraded as technology has improved, and remains a great riding bike.

I've just recently gone down the carbon fibre 29er route so need the room in my garage.

Plush suspension while still retaining great pedal-ability, it handles a wide variety of conditions from XC racing (which I have used it for) through to All Mountain (eg Manly Dam and Bantry Bay). 130mm travel at both ends. Can be easily locked out for those long firetrail climbs.

It features adjustable geometry where you can slacken the head angle and lower the bottom bracket for more gravity oriented and technical riding if you choose. Currently set up for XC.

Condition remarks:
Current Fox seal service kits fit the rear shock and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It's one of the reasons i prefer their product - you can have confidence in ongoing future parts support.

The shock has a Lizard Skins protective cover that will periodically need to be removed and washed clean. You can run without if desired but i found it was an improvement.

The cranks have had some of the paint rubbed off in a couple of spots from shoe rub. My heels tend to creep inwards. I've blacked over these marks - not sure how long the paint will stay on.

Saddle also has some rub marks.

Besides the usual minor scratches, the frame has a stone impact mark on the front of the lower right shock support strut, and cable rub on the inside of the lower left. The rock strike occurred several years ago when a rock flipped up off the front tyre. Clear tape over the cable rub marks prevents further rub but you will need to replace periodically. My son has been riding this bike for the last two years and I have had no concerns.
