Community info day for Westleigh Water Board land - Ruddock Park

This Sunday at 12:30pm, there is a community event at Ruddock Park, Westleigh to discuss the future of the Westleigh Water Board site, which was recently bought by council to have the area transformed into a public sport/recreational facility. This facility hopes to include a legal MTB (similar to what OMV is like), the need to which is proven by the zillions of riders at the Hornsby track that are displaced as the track is closed for several months.

Hence, we need as many MTBers as possible to come and show what a crucial facility a legal MTB track in Westleigh would be over a sausage sandwich.

Please come along to RUDDOCK PARK on Sunday between 12:30 and 1:15 and show your support for mountain biking at Westleigh

For those that are not aware, a number of local sports and recreational bodies have been working together over a number of months to ensure that the local community have a voice in the development of the Westleigh Water Board site.
This event is to to capture the size of our community and the spirit we have for all our sports.
So come along with your friends & family, go for a ride at H20 then ride to Ruddock Park for a sausage sambo or vice versa.
Football NSW, Western Sydney Wanderers players, and W League players will be in attendance, along with Gala Miniroos. There will likely be politicians and press there as well.
We'll have a DJ & BBQ's. It's going to be a fun, community event.
At 1.15 there will then be a community photo - BE THERE at 1:15 with your bike!
