Mudguards

After seeing Pikey & Heckler finish the Angry Doctor and how fresh they looked I decided to invest in some mudguards. I have been out for a few spins and its awesome not having crap flying everywhere. Not to mention how much easier it is to clean the bike.

What brand is that rear one? Looks like a good one! Smiling

If it fits that, should fit a treat with the reign too Smiling

I couldn't actually find a rear one to fit as they all seem to fit the seat post but I actually wanted it to go all the way down. I ended up finding a front one that fitted nicely and I will check tonight on the brand and let you know.

i picked up on that mate but is it our minds are too alike?

Yeah, it is a shame the only way to get one in the rear is to attach it to your post. I still need some clarification though, you ended up using a front one to use in the rear.... and that way it went all the way down? How did you mount it?

Please let me know the brand as I'd also like a rear one which will go all the way down.

I was also going to ask about my stem because you may notice it is at a different angle. I have been playing with it a bit lately in different positions to see what works best for me. The standard seems to have them pointing up but I changed mine to a more level position. I was going to ask for comments regarding the geometry and safety but then reading it, it all looked just so wrong Eye-wink

Hi lozza
It is a zefal classic. I do have one (the one meant for the rear) you're welcome to as this would also fit with some mods.
Cheers

Do you think our rear triangles would be the same size? With all the bouncing and flexing going on back there, it could snap right off if it's too tight a fit. It's a 16 Inch (Size Small).

It would be ok although I have now cut it down further as I wasn't happy with the way it was fitting. One day I might look at making a carbon one but then again, that will probably never happen Eye-wink
