Summer Hill

After driving through the rain all day Saturday and being diverted by a flooded road, I was desperate to put my bike together and get out for a ride. Luckily found a bike shop whilst driving they directed me to Summer Hill, which features a few different single tracks.

Putting my bike together was all going smoothly until I got to the rear wheel, whilst on the plane the brake rotor was bent and there was air in the brake line which expanded during flight. As I entered the park Jason a local turned up, he took me around the 6km SRAM loop. He had to wait for me on a number of occasions with the state of the rear brake every turn of the pedals took a lot of extra effort. The SRAM loop was great fun, it is very smooth and features a lot switch backs and a couple of nasty uphill surprises.

After only just managing to do a single lap here I thought it was in serious trouble for the Karopti... next instalment coming soon Smiling
