Another tedious night alone in the forest !!!

Well once again i had a spare two hours to kill , and what better way to do it than at Sparrow hill AGAIN !!! This time i had the whole forest to myself .....not really lonely ....no friends ....bad deodorant .....just the thought of my poor wife at home with three kids and nobody to help .....
I tried to plug my ipod in and ride but after 100 meters it was too eerie so i turned back and went without it , needed my hearing to dodge the roos . Had two and a half hours of charge in my lights and felt great , up the fire road into the forest on the red lap then decided to be a little adventures and go somewhere new , thats when is got fun , dont recall the names but there are some more technical ( for me )and rocky parts out here. It was on this section between a large downed tree cut in two and a rock garden i hit a large rock gently bounced off a tree , didnt unclip in time and to the ground with a thud.... nothing broken , keep going
This continues for about an hour and a half having a blast crossing some of the mont course then off in my thoughts to another part and so on . I am sure i could have ridden for another two hours last night but it was getting bloody cold so i then tried to find my way back , this it seems , at the moment always adds a little more time than i anticipated as my sense of direction is crap at the moment and nearly ended up on the same railway line as last time but thankfully turned around and went the wrong way down the single track and came out at the dunny and then onto the river run for a quick blast back to the car
