Pretty much all of the trails over here in Whakarewarewa Forest are super smooth. Here's one small section of 'Rosebank' that had a narrow gully with a few roots though - this is almost as technical as it gets. Note I don't say, "hard". There are harder sections but that comes from jumps and such rather than having to negotiate roots, rocks, etc. Gazza made it look easy but it's actually quite tricky, especially when you know that just off camera to the left is a very sharp right hander with a 2-3 foot drop straight ahead. |
