Update: I'm back in Sydney so this is now back up for sale.

I know this is a little off topic here, but this kind of bike may appeal to all types of riders. For both road and mountain riders wanting to get closer to the 'other side' (whatever that might be), Cyclocross is allegedly the 'in' way to do this and prove that your side is better than the other Eye-wink

Or on the other hand, are you looking for a sturdy commuter (or training bike even?) that's much faster and nicer to ride than hybrids and other such nonsense?

Withdrawn: SRAM RHS double tap control

Price:
140.00

Due to an unfortunate incident I'm looking for one only, SRAM road shifter. Double tap, right hand side (for the rear).

Only need the RHS, but as you can't buy them in singles am hoping someone might have broken the left and have a spare right lying around.

Rival, Force, Red... doesn't really matter.

Brand new Rival set (the pair) can be found online from around $280AUD so looking to pay no more than half that - so long as it's in mint condition. Well, if you are offering Red then perhaps a bit more Eye-wink

Hi all,

I am selling a set of awesome training/commuting wheels. They have just had the loving touch from TWE wheels and are straight and true!!!
The hubs are 7900 dura-ace hubs 32 hole built up into Mavic open pro rims with ceramic braking surfaces. I will include a new set of brake pads to go with these wheels. They they are all tied together with double butted Sapim spokes and red alloy nipples.

I will post photos tonight.

Any questions just ask.

Withdrawn: Kona Road Bike

Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.

I am looking to sell my roadie as I've upgraded.

It's a 2009 Kona Zing (Size 56):
* Ultegra/105 drivetrain
* Mavic Aksium Race Wheels
* Aluminium frame, carbon fork

Full spec: http://www.konaworld.com/09/09_zing_en.cfm

Has been very well looked after and is in great nick but for cosmetic paint chips on the drive side chain stay and a rub on one of the cranks.

A great way to expand your riding giving you options when the trails are wet and super for training and fast commuting.

Looking for about $1000.

Bike lane at Sydney Olympic Park - 3 of 3

This guy was stopped in the No Stopping zone, completely blocking the bike lane. He moved forward to this position, still partly in the No Stopping zone and obstructiong the bike lane for about a minute.

When saw me stop and lift up my phone camera, he turned around and looked at me. The brake lights then went off and he executed a hasty U-turn in front of oncoming traffic and took off.

It seems like drivers around SOP seem to regard bike lanes as their own personal parking space. She (again presuming) has left herself more space to the kerb than for the cyclist in the bike lane. Anyone for another serving of cyclist sandwich?

10 seconds after resuming my journey after taking this pic, I narrowly escaped being doored by a driver in a dark Commodore less than 50m further on.
