New baby

After getting hooked on big wheels but fancying a bit more spring than my current aluminum frame gives I've decided to take the plunge & go new old school. 853 steel with taper HT & the ability to run Gates belt drive (I also love the colour)

See you out there.

Has anyone seen this before?

I found it this morning getting ready to go for a ride, very annoyed to say the least.

Should I be chancing warranty?
It is about two years old

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at getting this addition put onto my Trance for both F+R shocks, kinda getting sick or bending down all the time to change the CTD settings and would like the option to be able to do this on the fly all the time without waiting for a smooth section of trail.

I have been told from one of the guys at TBE I need to send my rear shock over east to get the knob changed and could take 2 weeks...Surely i can get this done in WA somewhere..

So my question is are there any licensed Fox shock service agents in WA?

Or

Suggestions for new rims?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I'm looking to ugrade the rims on my 2008 Trek Fuel EX-7. The bike came stock with Bontrager Select rims which have held up fairly well but they are relatively heavy and I have had to replace a number of spokes on the rear over the years.
I want to get something Tubeless compatible, sturdy enough to suit my occasional dodgy line selection in around WA trails but light enough for racing club rounds and/or enduros.Budget would be limited to under $1K for the wheelset.
Thoughts & suggestions?

Cheers,
Chris.

650b's vs 29er's for shortarses

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I am a little bloke and looking to move to a 5" travel DS bike and have been looking around and researching and have had a few LBS say that I should look at a 650b's instead of 29er's due to my miniature stature any thoughts or are there others of my ilk riding these bikes that may info to give. By the way I am planning on mainly trail rides with larger drop offs with this bike as I have a good hardtail for xc. any help appreciated

Brand advice for seatpost and handlebars

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hey guys

Just looking to change a few things on my bike for a better fit. I need an offset seat post 31.8mm and some riser bars (20mm or less probably) for my Trek Superfly but I have no idea what I'm looking at or what's worth looking at.

So without spending too much what would you recommend as far as brands and product?

Thanks for the help

Bike TLC...

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi All,

Just throwing a quick one out here to see what info i get back.

What type of cleaning products do people tend to use when cleaning their bike, after a trip to the trails.

- General cleaning
- Chain / Drivetrain cleaning
- Lubricants
- Etc.

Also,
- Do's and dont's?
- What NOT to use..

Cheers,
-TJ.
