Alps Support?
I'd really like to do the Alps Epic next year:
But... want to do it with some friendly NoBMoB faces, but... cannot offer any kind of support as my would be support crew cannot drive 
How serious are the folk that are down to do this? Want to or definitely? What are you doing for support? For the price of the organiser's support package reckon we could hire a beer wench young taxi driver and take a large vehicle/trailer. Anyone got any plans or other ideas?
NSW MTB Meetings for 09 race season
Hi everyone,
For those of you who might be interested I have attached a email i recieved about the NSW 09 MTB race season.
Appreciate this is kind of late notice but we're having our annual get
together for the XC side of things this thursday the 6th of Nov. Other
disciplines will also be having meetings over the next few days so if you
have any interest in the running of MTB racing for your respective
discipline in NSW at all, I encourage you to come along!!

This event was also included in Han's forum topic last week:
I am going down to check out all the bikes, may find some parts (bling, bling) and try and sell my bicycle.
This is a first time event, which means there are no expectations on how the event will run. I have spoken with the event coordinator; he mentioned there are all types of bikes, and equipment. It is run on an open air car park so if it rains, be prepared to get wet.

I went to my LBS to stock up on goodies for the fling. There was so much choice. I am thinking this is what one should take. Anything missing????
1 x Spare tube (presta)
1 x Tyre Repair kit
1 x Small hand pump
1 x Set tyre levers
1 x Folding toolset
6 x Cable ties
1 x Derailer cable
1 x Derailer hanger

Hi, does anybody know why the full fling Elite riders start @ 8.00am yet everybody else starts at 7.30am? Seems reverse of what it should be.

have a friend who missed out on a full fling entry. let me know if you're sick, your bike is busted or you've been a lazy bugger and havn't trained and would like to sell your entry.
