Hornsby Park (OMV) Update
****This will be up on Saturday 20th as well****
Hornsby Mall has a community feedback on the recent submissions regarding the Hornsby Park area. Won't say much as I'll let the photos of the signs speak for themselves.
OMV Short Track Series Round 3
End of Quarry Road, Hornsby - Parking is well signposted, directing cars to park at the END of the road. If this is full, park in the Dural Street carpark.
Old Mans Valley Short Track Racing Series (more info http://www.snorc.org.au/)
Get your bikes lubed, slap on the lycra and get ready to work off the festive season by throwing yourself into a lather of sweat in a summer short track series!
For the uninitiated this means going as hard as you can for about 15 minutes followed by lying on the ground and then enjoying a cool drink and BBQ as the sun sets over the valley.
Following on from the successful OMV Bike Festival, Hornsby Council have granted the OK to a short track series to be run from Jan to Mar 2015.
OMV Short Track Series Round 2
End of Quarry Road, Hornsby - Parking is well signposted, directing cars to park at the END of the road. If this is full, park in the Dural Street carpark.

OMV Bike Festival Wrap-up
From Campbell King, president of SNORC.
Thought I'd share to show others what a difference the support each person gives whether it be by volunteering, participating and just general encouragement:
"Hi xxxxxxxx
Well the inaugural Old Man's Valley Bike Festival was a screaming success. Check out the snorc Facebook page for more pics or snorc.org.au for the results.
Old Man's Valley Ride - This Sunday!
Hi All,
Ive probably posted this in the wrong area. But now that I have I may as well keep going.
Im going to be out on the Old Man's Valley tomorrow, sunday 29th September
I'll probably be there at around 9:30AM.
PLAN: A SHORT RIDE FOR ABOUT 2 - 2.5 HOURS. (Have to get back to pick up the Mrs from her beginners MTB clinic at Jubes)
Never ridden the track before so would be great to meet up with someone who has.
I've ridden for many years, although haven't been on the saddle for about 4 months, so itching to get back.
Hopefully see some of you there : )
