Withdrawn: Shimano Hydraulic brakes
Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Hi all,
I have these left over Shimano Brakes. I feel they are too good to throw out as someone may be in need of spare parts. Obviously both the levers are broken but the rest of the front and back systems are in tact and in functional condition exactly as they we're when pulled off the bike. Pads have about 1/2 to 2/3rds material remaining.
No responsibility will be taken for their condition. Just happy if someone has a use for them.
I can deliver when riding at Manly Dam or contact me to arrange an alternative.
FREE to good home!!
Cheers
Australian made bikes and components.
We all buy foreign bits and pieces for our bikes but what if you want to support Australian products? How do you find Australian products?
Please post up anything bike related that is made in Australia so we can support our local bicycle industry.
Jamis trail X3 upgrade
Hi all
Curious to see what you think is the better more cost effective solution to a better ride. Currently have a Jamis trail X3 2009 which cannot currently handle the type of riding I would like to do eg. drops, small jumps etc standard trail riding / tech. so I am considering upgrading some of the components to make it a better ride or should I just get a new XC bike ? any feedback of your thoughts and recommendations of parts to upgrade or quality XC bikes that ride well and are durable would be great.
thanks
Matt
What is going on with Australian Bike Shops????
I know parts here in Australia are somewhat more expensive then in US, but there some things that I just can’t understand. I’ve been looking for a seal kit for my Fox RP23 shock and I found it in a couple of bike shops near my work and they were charging $40 for the kit. I also found it online from Moruya Bicycles ($29 with shipping). Then I decided to look abroad and found out that this kit costs around $7.00 in US.
