From Lithgow head on the Western Highway toward Bathurst. After 10-11Km you will head uphill and see thick pine forest to the right. It's dual carriageway here, and there's a right turn across the other lane into Forest Ridge Drive (signposted and a sealed road). About 50m on the left there's a turning where you can park in the shade. There's also an old concrete section of the highway just past there with masses of parking. Show on Google Maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions. Details: Hey all for those interested NSW XC #1 is on at Lithgow on the 20th April. Entries are open through BOE The course will be ~11.5km long, We gave it a test ride tonight, I'm thinking of calling this the Cornetto version... No boring bits: Who's in:

Maybe
I could be talked into the madness of this if someone is heading up with spare seat.
Anyone out there silly enough to want to join me?
Keen
Actually... I would be rather keen for this but it clashes with Steve's silly training ride. Hmmmmm... decisions, decisions.
370
According to Garmin last nights test ride had almost 370m of rise and fall each lap. 3 laps = 1000m climbing in under 36km... That's half the rise and fall of the DW in a third the distance. What better training do you want
Cheers for fixing the map rob, I had a brain freeze...
Looking for a lift to this!
Looking for a lift to this! Somebody leaving sautrday afternoon, or early sunday morning would be great! chuck me a pm or leave a message on here or even email me! I'm in freshwater
Paul
Ahh why not
Give this a go, the 8 hr track was good and this is supposed to be better so with my recent obsession with training you never never know.
Pjordan. I'll be leaving from Woodford, so if you can get here, I can get you there. I may go for a practice lap on Sat. but would return home to sleep and back in the morning.
John.
Well done to Carlgroover, He
Well done to Carlgroover, He took out is category with ease....
Thanks Flynny
But ease wasn't a word in my head during or just after the race, however I did beat the field of 12 in Masters (the 40-50 age group) by approximately 90 seconds. Yes it seems I'll be doing the series now that I'm the leader.
Sucked in!
That'll teach ya!
Well done Mr Groover!
Awesome CG!
Top effort once again mate...

Bodes well for DW!
Maybe
I could start selling my training tips if this run keeps up, also got a 3rd at the club round last week.
Mtbasn.alex & Supagav
Also did very well Mtbasn.alex came third in his cat. and Supagav was in 2nd place in expert men when he got a pain in his knee and thought it safer to stop with only 1 lap to go in a 3 lap race.
Nice work boys!
John.
Step up
B grade for you at the next clubby I think
Jeez
Even though in 2 years of racing c grade I have 1 third place? and I've never missed a race.
John.

Cogratulations all!
