Hi all,

This is late notice, I know. So sorry about that. Given my other riding options did not seem to turn out, I still want to fit in some fun riding early on Saturday morning.

Who's up for some Red Hill action? Laughing out loud

The ride can be quite technical, but most of the harder parts can be ridden around or walked. So don't be discouraged. It is all part of the fun.

Park on Lady Penrhyn drive. I will be in a blue Mazda.

Hopefully I will see you there! Smiling

Who's in:
Mr Lights, Little-Ditty, Caro, delicious, evan, Andy Bloot, Peter R, ScottM (8 riders)

Hiya All,

Thanks for all the support and help from the guys on the ride. Sorry to cut everyones ride short.

Sorry there are no before shots. But here are a couple of after shots.

The now infamous stitchesRight KneeLeft Knee

Total of 10 stitches. Apparently it is a T style cut but more looked like a figure 8 when I got to the doctors. It took the doctor about 30mins to do the repair work.

Dead keen, but I'm without wheels. If anyone is comming past Kent Street in the CBD can I get a ride?

Trails?

Submitted by Little-Ditty on Fri, 19/09/2008 - 14:38.

If we end up with a group of fairly competant riders, then something on the more technical side would be good. We could do the standard loop, but incorporate the requisite rim ride as well. That always works well. Maybe ride down 4wd follies and back up again if there is time. But we can work within the skill level present on the morning. I am keen to finish the ride by midday, as I have other things to do in the arvo. Plus it will be very hot by then.

i'll be there

Mr Ev tells me.
Lucky we made that bet for $100! Didn't we?
Was an unlucky stack- feet up in front of the telly for Ev tonight.
Nice work to everybody for helping out and showing no sympathy ha ha
Hope your wife likes scars, Ev.

And

Ev Stiches?

Submitted by Rob on Sat, 20/09/2008 - 18:28.

Wow... what happened guys? Pictures please! Eye-wink

Yes - Red Hill is a bit dangerous. Cunningly I picked up some 661 pads from BA this arvo, and on seeing this post realise it's probably a wise move for the next visit there.

loved it

Submitted by Caro on Sat, 20/09/2008 - 19:13.

Hi guys!

Thanks for the great ride! Had so much fun and can't wait to go back!
Great to hear you made it to the Dr. on time Ev and that you are ok! I won't elaborate on your story, you are the one to do the write up! But from where I was sitting it looked pretty stylish Laughing out loud

Just so much Rob:
OWING armour doesn't really help! Actually WEARING it makes all the difference Eye-wink

Fun ride

Submitted by Little-Ditty on Sun, 21/09/2008 - 22:12.

Yes, I loved the ride, awesome fun, love the trails. Not too many riders on the day, so we fitted in plenty of trails this time. The standard loop, some 4wd follies, Mr MotoX, rim ride, drop zone, and up the garden of gullies. Bad luck there for Evan, as this kind of stack can happen to anyone. Just bad luck you landed on a rock mate. But we know that next time young Evan will be wearing his armour, right! >:|

A next time at Red Hill? Yes, yes, soon, soon... Laughing out loud

Yes
