Pearl Beach to Umina Headland track
A critical section of what should be a marvellous bike path entry point from Umina to the fire trails south from Pearl Beach.
We are making comments to Council as part of their Bike Plan review.
Reasons for inaction include dangerous rocks but there was a road there from 1927 to 1954. The sewer line runs along the track alignment. No difference in engineering challenge than the Manly to Fairy Bower promenade.
There would need to be rock protection but the Austrians have the technology for avalanche and rock protection for roads.
Rock bolting is also an option.
Ourimbah condition?
Anyone ridden Ourimbah today or know the condition of xc loop? Considering a visit tomorrow. Thanks.
Ourimbah DH where to park?
Hi downhillers,
If i go alone to ourimbah DH and have no shuttle, should I park close to the tower or at the trail head parking?
If the latter, how far is the walk (pushing my dh rig) to the tower? Is it doable?

Just recently new to mountain biking and wanting to know if ourimbah Forrest would be suitable for me to head down and give a go, plus is there plenty of signage for trails as I don't want to get lost haha
