Winter fun @ Ourimbah
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
Time to catch up with our friends from the central coast.
Hopefully the winter sun will be shining and a great day out can be had by all. As it's winter no point showing up too early. Remember to bring some snacks for lunch 
Personally I'll be hitting the XC course for a few laps, but don't let that stop those of the DH persuasion coming to say hello and shuttle a few.

Oh you've got to be kidding. I'm going to be down in the Southern Highlands on the 14th-16th weekend so am going to miss this ride at my local. Gawd I can never win. :\
I know it's still some time away but in the interest of saving some carbon emisions and petrol anyone keen to car pool - I'm in Davidson or Frenchs Forest area?
will also have 2 mates who are over from Perth joining us for this ride. But no DH for me this time! XC all the way.

After riding Ourimbah a few times alone I'd be much more enjoyable in a group with you guys so I'm keen to come. Happy to check out the DH but Saturdays are usually brimming with DHers. Probably stick to the XC and see how we go.

Not to worry I will most likely come a long anyway & see what this riding on dirt stuff is all about

I think its very unlikely but if I can get out next weekend as well, I'll join you for some DH action.

I'm planning to start riding at 8am and ride for at least 8 hours. I need to work on my food and drink plans, got a number of changes to test out.

harry i can fit 3 bikes in mine too but just realised my sister is having bday drinks from 3pm at manly and not sure if can stay entire duration as have to be back home prob by 2????
