Menai - first ride

Holy shit. sore.. check, bloody.. check.. some awesome maintained north shore and sniggle in an hours drive.. check.

Not overly impressed with the valley single track, too sandy from the motos to get up any decent speed without washing out.

The north shore work in the maintained area is off the hook, some crazy looking stuff I just stood and wondered how to tackle. Run a few of the tech XC trails (forget their names), sign posted names and dedicated "up" tracks to walk back out. Massive berms and gaps and that's just the XC. The DH runs had some huge launches. Few DHers out and only a couple XCs. Plenty of work going on building new trails, this is one loved place. This is how it's done northern beaches... sigh.

Good times but better with others and a freeride bike.
