Details:

Well, Menai sort of rhymes with Jedi!

Going for the usual mid week ride around Menai, won’t be venturing near the free ride areas and the more technical trails, these will be left for the daylight hours.

Pace will be reasonable, but plenty of stops to check we haven’t lost anyone, good night riding skills will be needed along with a good riding light.

I’ve said 8pm but if anyone wants to change, please feel free to PM me.

Look forward to seeing a few of you out there.

Cheers

how did you go at mogo please? you surely didn't ride the 100 with no granny gear? we didn't see you guys at the end at all...

.....when I finished.

It was hard and there was a fair amount of walking involved, but I managed to beat the eight hours by 3 seconds.

I certainly learnt two big lessons last weekend.

1. Check your bike well in advance of a ride like this as replacement parts can be hard to come by.

2. Don't try and do a 100k race without a granny gear.

Who was I trying to kid, pretending to be a pro, I don't even wear Lycra shorts.......

Chris, was great to have you along last night and thanks for leading me back when my light went.
