Night ride - Wed 22?
Anyone up for a night ride Wednesday 22nd?? Around 7:45? I can actually do Tue or Thu also so am open to suggestion
Anywhere fire-trail like is good: Cascades, Terrey Hills, even a couple of out and backs at Oxford Falls (Five Mile + Slippery Dip).

At this stage I can sqeeze a night ride in on Wed at 7:45.
How do you feel about Manly Dam? I did it once at night on my own, wasn't to hard just a bit slower that it normally takes.
Greg
Sorry, but don't have the super bright light quiet finished so not keen on anything technical at this point. When it is finished though, bring it on
You still wanna come if we stick to boring trails?
I would assume Manly would be out at night as well as the day with the trail works going on, but could be wrong.
At the moment am happy to come along depending on the boss and work.
Stuart
Hi Rob,
Count me in for the night ride.
Evan
OK then - we've got a couple of takers... shall we make it Cascades? Wyatt Ave entry?
Where: Wyatt Ave (opposite side of Forest Way to Morgan Road) - right at the end.
When: 7:45pm, Wed 22
What: Usual drops and climbs and drops and climbs around Cascades. No technical descents.
Cheers,
Rob
P.S. If you really don't this and feel like Terrey Hills instead then please shout up this (Tuesday) eve.
I have been sitting here moaning that I am missing out on a night ride as I have a girls night and there you go and suggest Cascades!
Now I am pleased I can't come!!!
MEEE
While I'd prefer a Coopers Pale ale a ride round Cascades will have to do, or perhaps a combination of the two. Not that I'm advocating performance enhancing drugs mind.
See you there,
Matt.
Rob,
Cascades it is you girl!
Whats sooooo scarrryyyyyyy about Manly Dame at night?????
See you at the gate at the end of Wyatt at 7:45
Thanks
greg
PS: Stuart and Jeff (I know you have lights)
PSS: Christine, You have to do Cascades one day!!(night)
Greg, you're more than welcome to borrow my lights for tonight mate, what's up, is your battery getting too heavy ?
Sorry mate I'm pulling the pin, half way through a two week detox and to be honest don't have the juice to keep up with you guys at cascades at the best of times, let alone at the moment and then on a 38 degree day.
Have fun, give some honest feedback about robs lights, hopefully he'll bring them with him.
Stuart
Ah Stuart... no, no - the new lights will not be out these eve. They are staying under wraps until all teething problems are gone. Sorry, still more waiting!
Further to Gregs PSS - Christine if you come along I can finally relieve myself of the burden of jacket larceny guilt... Not that I suspect you'll need it tonight!
Seriously I can get it posted/couriered to you...
Sadly the lure of a girls night with a bottle of Veuve is winning over the enticing hills of Cascades...funny that!
Please could you give my jacket to Greg as I will probably see him (eventually) - then I can return Craig his jacket and also Justin his as I got his one from the Fling - I am quite a hoarder!
Have fun tonight!

Very nice, bit tentative on the descents, but what do you expect in the dark?
http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/episode/view....
Forgot to hit 'Start' until we were well on the way to the single track... doh!
Rob, what went wrong, only two of the three hills last night mate, not feeling well or is it only me you try and punish?
Someone... eeeeeerm... didn't want to do Davidson so we stopped at the two climbs. Matt was riding like a man possessed and that pace didn't help. Very nice evening though, next time, eh?
And take that wee ring off your cranks, while I remove the needle from the broken record...
Enjoyed the ride last night, thanks. Sorry if the pace was a bit much, I just hate prolonging hills! Something I read once on trail etiquette suggested the lead rider go back down the track and help out those lagging but I figure if it's not technical then that's just adding insult to injury!
Eat his, Matt's, dust I did but as the elder statesman of last night's ride I proved once again that good looks and the biggest beam won again!
I feel it may be time for NoBMoB drug testing to be carried out as Matt surely must be on steroids, as prior to the start of our ride I downed a toasted sausage sandwhich and a beer so if I couldn't keep up with him it proves he must be on the gear
Hey Christine, I scored a nice Sydney 2000 rain jacket
Catch Ya's next week.
Greg
