The recent comments have dissapeared from the home page and replaced with random images, what gives?

Well, mainly because of http://nobmob.com/node/10621
Plus, pictures are nicer then text, aren't the? And the random image isn't on the front page any more due to trail status.
Most people use 'my unseen' anyhow.
