End of Scott A line crash
First time I came to this I was on the Rush and didn't realise it was a huck. I was going too slow and had to roll it. Luckily getting well off the back without incident! Last time round was on the Yeti and got some serious air! 
MTB-OZ reports the guy in this video broke his nose - ouch! Get well soon mate!

Replayed it a few times, looks like he does not lift at all to keep the bike horizontal, is it hard to lift there or did he just forget?
It was completely blind and as all the rest of the A lines on the course were rolls one could be forgiven for thinking it was too.
As I said, first lap I thought it was a roll too, but got my weight well back on realising the drop and came through just fine. I think this guy was going a bit faster than I was at that time - perhaps he was going for a huck but just didn't get it right?
Is this that drop that was near the finish line at the end of that fast smooth downhill section with all the table tops? I can't really see how he could have stuffed that up other than panicing when he saw the drop and going for the front brake. It's an easy drop really.
Edit: after watching it again, I don't think he even did that. He just got his weight all wrong, and didn't even try to lift the front wheel.
Nasty looking crash, hope he's ok.
I think he fell asleep. I can't see any reaction at all once he starts going over (body position remains the same) until he is flat on his back!

Yep. That's the A line coming into the village. However you come around a right hand bend - at reasonable speed - and the A line is right in front. The B line goes around to the right more. However there's still time to decide which line to take. You can't see the A line landing area as it drops off a lot... so at speed you just have to launch it and land on the bottom of the down slope. No way you'd go off that A line slow - esp sight unseen. I think he had brain fade. There were a million cameras and videos there for precisely that occurence. I too hope he's OK.

Looks like the rider behind only just missed him too.
and being 6 and a half ft up already it's a bloody long way to look down. I did hit the ground front wheel first and thought I was a goner, but trusty 29" wheels and an even grip of steel saw me thru.
B line for me after that.
and I swear he's shaped up to take the dive.
That's an 8.4 from the English judge.
and I would dare say a late stab of the front brake was applied,
(you might have expected a chance of riding the front wheel for a little right Tien ?)
Its as if he didn't see it at all...as Justin said...he looks like he is asleep.
Needless to say I didn't attempt this particular drop/jump...but it was cool watching people take it at night from the camp site across the course.
