RNP Trail Maintenance Day

Just got this from the rangers... contact Grant on the number below if you want to attend:

...some have said they’d like to do some work around Engadine improving site lines and mainly doing some minor track works. Others may prefer to keep working on the track near the creek crossing where we worked last time.

I don’t know if I'll have Phil this time so we can only do one site or the other, at this stage I’d say it would be good to do some work around Engadine – unless there are major objections. I see someone’s pulled the bike sign out again near the rocks crossroads. There is some brush matting work that needs doing nearby to close a couple of informal tracks and we can do a bit of drainage work in some areas as well.

The only problem with the Engadine site is it’s harder to get soil and equipment to, I'll do a recce over the next few days and see what we’ll need.

We can meet behind the Engadine Train Station at 9 - 9.30, you can park at the station and walk to the other side on the footbridge or meet at the office carpark and ride up.
