The day is fixed, the time may be later if it is too hot or I get late in some stuff i need to do before getting on the bike. It is a technical single track around the lake, and some more where i have not been but i was told about.

Do you know where you're going around here? It's probably one of those places you need a guide to see the best side of.
There's been many discussions about the legality of the riding and no-one seems to be able to get any comment from council about it. This is one of the reasons we don't have maps online
I know the track around the lake itself, it is about 6km of hard work single trail. Lots of rocks, turning, squeezing batween trees and there is a section where you could ride right beside a cliff of 4 or 5 mts above the water (I usually walk that). Then there is a section to the north where i have been once or twice but could not get to the proper single trails, I found some fire trails and a little bit of single trials. I got a map from there that i got from a video on a ride there.
I get there, ride what i know and then go to explore the rest or do another lap to the lake depending how i feel
..I can give you a tour. Its a jungle in there, you may never make it out! j/k
.....Noel was very nice to show me the track sometime time ago. I haven't been on my bike for 4 months due to an injury, so if I'm free tomorrow I'd be happy to show you the track. Just read Noel's description, we stay away from the lake, & I start from Jenkins Rd & Baker St. I'm on call so it will be last minute, sorry.

Ray, we didn't see you, and to tell you the truth i didn't see you were coming until now. Hopefully you were able to ride something!!!
i turned up but didnt see anyone. seen some nice trails though, but wasnt sure if bikes were allowed on them so went home and got the road bike out
