I am thinking of buying shorts with some sort of protection for the hips. Every time i fall i hit my hips and make big bruises really annoying and at this age i don't recover that fast Sad
Any recomendations, anyone has used any sort?

One x used 661 Bomber Pro - Large
One x brand new 661 Bomber (I think the non-Pro ver) - Small
You can google these... they are pretty solid.

I'm a medium (33") and neither pair fits me.

pm me if interested

If the Bombers are the ones with the high density foam inserts, I can highly recommend these. They don't weight much, fit well, have a padded gusset but most importantly do an excellent job of protecting you. I've had the need to use these a few times and they have proved themselves invaluable.

If the ones above are the wrong size, try the motorbike shop on Wentworth Ave near Oxford St. I got mine there for about $60. I don't think you can even buy normal bike shorts for that much!!
