Hi all,

Anyone interested in an early morning ride on Sunday 10 Dec? i have to be at work by 1.00pm and would like to squeeze in an early morning ride if possible. I would'nt mind having a look at oxford falls or doing the dam circuit again. Any takers?

Luke.

I am flying back from Melbourne Saturday night so Sunday would suit me - before my date with Robbie!!

Hi Luke,

Where did you have in mind? And what sort of distance/pace? We usually go an 8:30 start - plenty of time to get back to work (doh!) Eye-wink

Well i've only recently moved to the area from the Blue Mountains, not to familiar with the local trails so i can't really suggest any other than manly dam which i rode on Sunday with Christine and a few other regulars from here. I like x country/technical rides, thought oxford falls sounded ok. Distance 10-20km i guess.Just getting back into riding following a short break, so i aint no speed demon at present.

Ah, sorry - you did mention this before. Yeah - I love the falls, lots of tough technical stuff but there's also fire trail to get some K's. Why not - we can do a tour Smiling

8:30am? Second right hand bend (top of the hill) in Morgan Road (the suburb is Oxford Falls)? There's a kind of unofficial parking area - they'll be loads of MTBers there if it's a nice day, it's a top spot.

Cheers!

S!

I don't believe I have any plans for early Sunday. So you can count me in too! There are some sensational technical parts there which I love. I'll also see if I can rustle up a few mates.

Christine, although you won't be so cool travelling in the car anymore, I think you should leave your jumper in the car this time! Smiling

Regards,
Liam.

Hey guys, i was thinking of maybe joining you 2morro morning at oxford falls...
I was just wondering where everyone will be meeting? i dont really know the area too well and was hoping for some help finding the meeting point...

Thanks... Kyle...

Coming from Forest Way, we'll be meeting at the second right hand bend in Morgan Road. This is top of the hill, there's plenty of parking and normally many groups of riders around.

Morgan Road turn from Forest Way opposite side of cross roads to Wyatt Ave. If you're searching for this in a directory, the suburb is Oxford Falls.

I'm in a silver Forester, Christine is in a dark green-ish Holden ute.

See you there!

Top ride today, but read it and weep boys, 13km only!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to say thanks for the cool ride around Oxford Falls today. I had a great time riding some new parts I had not seen before. Well, er, the stacks and scratched elbows notwithstanding.

Rob, that GPS (?) you have must have been out to lunch today while we were out riding those loops, because there is no way that course was 13km. In 2hrs 44m?? That's crazy. We can keep up a pace of 10km in an hour normally. What are you trying to do here, kill our self confidence? Smiling

See you all out there again soon. Cheers,

Liam.

Hey fella's

Well it's no secret that i was stuffed after yesterdays ride, thoroughly enjoyed myself though and thanks for the tour. Not so easy for me though with a lot of the technical sections, no matter look forward to next time. Hard to believe that was only 13 clicks though Rob...if that is the case i certainly have a lot of fitness work to do.

Look forward to the next ride,

thanks

Luke.
