I may make an appearance if my new XC rig is ready by then. Will know for sure by tomorrow night.
Can't make it this week, have my mother arrivng for a tour of duty from the UK. Have fun and blast out a hot lap!
I can only do one lap though as I have dinner with the in-laws tonight. I'll drive straight down from work so I can make 6pm.
I'll be in for 2 laps tonight. Will be my first NOBMOB ride! On a Black Gary Fisher and will be riding there from Manly.
I'll be doing Just one lap before the 6pm ride. See you soon!?
Cheers for the ride guys. Was great to ride with new people and learn a couple of things. Managed to limp home with the electrical tape keeping the tyre up. Given I've got part of the Half Fling and now about 8 laps of the dam with a sidewall tear and bulging tube, how many laps do you think I'll get with black electrical tape covering a torn tube and sidewall......just kidding....maybe!!!!!!
Ditto. It might have it's annoying parts but the dam can still entertain ridden with the right... erm... gusto, shall we say
Thanks for putting in Brian, that last section was top notch fun
That last section was awesome . Looking at the profile my heart rate peaked at 195bpm on that last section. No wonder my legs were like jelly.
You're missing a lap!
Sounds like I missed a bit of action on the 2nd lap??!
Where you pop out on the road at Allambie (01:27:45 on my profile ) the call was made "Go for it Brian". It then took us 3 minutes 46 seconds to get to the bottom. This puts it at an average speed of 25km/h. With no technique I was just bouncing from log to log and letting the bike take everything Lots of fun
Edit: I should also say I was in full control
It must be the mo
Sounds like you responded to the battle cry Brian, I was itching to get out, meant to go for a lap this morning but it was a struggle to get up!
I’ll be there next time.
It's amazing what these Mo's can do! lol
I can't do this ride this Thursday
Edit: Now I can http://nobmob.com/node/11610
