Has anyone ridden The Dam in the last 24hrs?

Is the trail ok?

It was dry as a bone last week and there hasn't been that much rain recently so suspect it's OK.

A report from someone who's seen it in the flesh would be nice though. Anyone? Anyone?

I rode it around midday today.
I must have overlooked when it was raining because it was surprisingly wet.
All the puddles were full but the fire trail and most of the track was dry.
It was irritating more than anything.
Worth a ride if you are desperate, but if you are on the fence wait until tomorrow.

Yeah, it rained a fair bit last night/early morning. Enough that everything concrete was still wet this-morning.

I did 2 laps on Sunday and it was dry and dusty. My bike looks like it has had a dust bath. Basically as dry as Manly Dam gets, I think.

Rode it last night (wednesday) and it was fine, a few wet patches here and there. Go for it!

I rode The Dam last night too. Generally it was dry and in great shape. There was however quite a lot of standing water, mainly in the top section in all the usual places. There was also a burst water main at the very end of the loop as you come up the path to the Hydro Works. This area is extremely wet, but the water is 'clean' so if you go fast enough it should also clean your bike.
