Details:

I'm pretty keen on heading to Canberra for a couple of days after Christmas. Thinking of spending an afternoon at Majura Pines, and then the following day at Stromlo.
Pretty flexible with where I ride, just have a couple of days free and thought I'd check out the ACT tracks! I'm open to suggestions of where to ride and for how long.

I'll be leaving from Frenchs Forest around 8:00am on the Wednesday (now Tuesday) and can fit another 2 bikes in the car if anyone's interested in coming with.

Also if any of the Canberra folk are interested in meeting up at some stage and acting as a bit of a tour guide that would be most welcome Smiling

Pace will be social, but also keen to get rid of some of this excess of Xmas eating and drinking...

cheers
Jon

Sorry but I've a late change of day!
Now heading down Tuesday morning and home Wednesday night. The rain today has changed my whole week around...

Weather forecast for Canberra is good - both Tue & Wed mostly sunny with a top of 29 degrees.

Thanks all for the ride today - it was good to catchup with you guys for a ride - much better then going solo.

Hope to see you around the beaches.

We had a great time in Canberra yesterday & today!
Rode Sparrow Hill yesterday and loved it. Nice lot of pine trees with single track winding its way through it. It's the sort of place you'd be happy to cruise around slowly enjoying the view/peace/serenity or putting the pace on and going as fast as you can.
Then today at Stromolo - wow what an awesome place that is Smiling
Fortunately met up with Wayne in the carpark just as we were about to start and was good to ride around with another NoBMoBber. Thanks for the phone call and meeting up.
My favourite track was the "Luge".

Definitely be back to Canberra again in the near future Smiling

Cheers
Jon

ps Sorted out the drivetrain problems - I'm now back to all gears instead of only two!!!
