if you dont mind id like to come along on sunday. never ridden with you guys and never ridden the oaks before, ive looked on whereis.com but never trust estimated times from bilgola. anyone any idea? im a pommy too so please... no one mention the cricket!

Mate, you are the one that mentioned the cricket. So it stands to reason that you must want to hear more about it. But don't fret, there are some Poms (un-Australians as I sometimes call them) going on that ride on Sunday. So at least there will be some safety in numbers for you. I must be feeling unwell, as I have held back all my Pommie cricket jokes for you. You know that these will be doing the rounds via email at work over the next few weeks. Should be a great laugh.

The fastest way to get out to Glenbrook for you would be via helicopter. If you don't have one of those, I would guess it will take you at least 2 hours to get out to the lower Blue Mountains. Once you are able to get onto the M2 from off the Mona Vale road, it would be about 1 hour from there.

thanks for the info on directions. luckily im not really into cricket and probably one of the only poms that doesnt support a soccer team. its saves a lot of dissapointment! ive got a sore throat at the mo so ill try and be there. ill be the one with the shaved legs!!!! yes i ride a road bike and have learned my lesson with accidents and hairy legs!
