Ride Database Entry:
Ourimbah State Forest Meeting Point:
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.

i just realised 17th is yellomundie ... i'm going to do yellomundie 4hr instead ... next time ...
cheers
b.
I'm a maybe at this stage. I will confirm later if there are spots still left.
Yeah but will need a lift at this stage...not sure if I will have the car...
I might do this instead of the orienteering trip just up the road a bit.
I want a ride!!!!!
so maybe, there would be room for a third bike (from close to Nth Wlby) but not a person
we can get three in the ute, but there's no extra seating
if that helps.
we have the cameras, the video cameras, the two GPii, plus the more i type the firmer i get in going
weather check says it's down to 22 degrees with a tad of rain, ATM
I'm keeping my eye on the weather, fingers crossed it doesn't get too much rain!
We have 2 cars and room for two ppls and bikes
mebbe more but don't want to restrict your travel times to our pace
I can do 3 bikes in the ute plus 1 passenger
1 bike dismantled in the car boot and passenger in the car
so bring rags for cushioning for yourself or the bike
It's a 2nd car for us so petrol money would be nice
We normally only do the ute
so the cars going as well to help out others who don't have a ride there
Is it 1st 2 in best dressed
Northbridge area
we can do our own thing, there's heaps of trail to explore
Happy to contribute tolls/petrol money no problems.
Hi! I am new at Nob Mob and would like to join you for this ride. I will be driving and have got space for one more person/bike in my car. I live in Balmain. Let me know if you need a ride.
Chris
Maybe some slight rain in the afternoon...
rode ourimbah today all good no puddles or mud.
Was going to post and ask, hoping for no more rain tomorrow.
I'll be the one in a silver ford escape, if you can't make it send me a txt, no. in profile.
Cheers
This is such I nice track. I hadn't been here since late 2008 and definitely will not leave it so long to revisit. Always good to meet new people on rides. Still getting over this flu I struggled big time but it was so well worth it. Looks like we just missed the storms as well because it bucketed down on the way home
Cheers
Brian
Yeah was a good ride, nice and flowy and the descents just long enough to forgot about the climbs.
Was good to meet everyone who came out, the rain on the way back. Rain drops the size of golf balls at one point.
Thanks for sharing with me this great track and waiting for me a every corner. I had a great time, managed to get lost once and to have one good stack!. Brian, I hate to think what you would be your pace when you are in good shape!
Chris, probably not much different from today but without the feeling of about to die
we had a 20 minute blast of fun. Heartbreak hill.
and that's all she wrote. bah, need more exercise.
I almost hurled breakfast, Adrian did, lots later on, going up Red Hills Rd.
that's going to be so much fun later.
we loaded the ute and went for a drive and looked around the ridge tops to see the lay of the land.
and big thanks to John for leading the way and sharing a few little extra tracks. Good to meet a few new faces, look out for a few more rides up here in the next few months. That was some storm on the way home.
