Tuesday Night Ride
This Tuesday night, start time about 7.15 - 7.30
Where, well I'm going to throw up the usual Terry Hills but could be talked into variations there of, ie Duck Holes etc, if people think these are appropriate night rides with our general level of illumination.

Hey Stu,
With a start time of 7:15pm lights wont be required until everyone returns and pack their bikes away
Either way I'm out of action for a short while, have fun.
and has a beer, thats why I should go on day...
Bernd
Greg this is a fact I am well aware of. The only problem being that if we start any later people complain about the time they get home, particularly if we do Perimeter and Long trails and there's no point going unless we do both is there? Besides that there are still some concerns about someones burn times on his new lights, I mean come on anything that bright can't burn for more than 2 hours and when they eventually fail we will al be so blinded from there glare that our eyes will never adjust to the darkness
Don't worry Rob you won't be on your own for long, the second sun is a mere two weeks away, should the Q2's show when expected.
You missed it last night ride.
I un-veiled my new, Stuart M, inspired Berocca tin 20 watt halogen light. 3.5 hr burn time.
(whats Q2's) call me stupid?
... stupid! ;)
P.S. Q2 refers to the bin label of the Cree XR-E LEDS:
Think the ones I have are P4, hence Q2s are, well, maybe 10% brighter at the same current?
weren't yours the P3, unless you paid the extra $2.88 each I think they are and this my friend would make the Q2's I'm waiting on 18.26792 percent brighter, I think.
Is this starting to classify as beam envy or do I just need to get a real job?
I cannot believe you are all still going on about lights!
anyway, I am keen for Tuesday night ride - Duck Holes was fun and if we did that it takes less time so can go later - having said that, I don't mind where we go and shall arrive armed with my beer at the designated time!

Sounds tempting... anyone know what the traffic on Lane Cove Road/Mona Vale Road will be like around that time?
(here's hoping the battery pack doesn't die on me again...)
bugger all at that time and don't forget its still school holidays so its lighter than normal
Sounds fun, count me in for this one.
Evan
Tuesday night sounds good, see you there.
i am coming too, as usual no lights
If you change the time please can you text me? I am having tomorrow off so won't be able to check the site...
yeeeeeeaaaaaayyyyyy! (to the day off!)
Ah... actually, the reciept says 'U' bin - which was kindof 'no guarantees' by the look of it.
OOI, this Cree XR-E Kit looks quiet nice if you only want one on the bars, one on the head 'cos it can be driven from el-cheapo AA batteries.
Ta,
Matt.
Where do you leave from - just in case I can get a leave pass.
Paul
just as you come on to Booralie Rd at Terry Hills. Turn right into the street between these shops and the adjacent park. There is parking either on the street here or between the park and the local community centre. There will be enough of us so we should be easy to see.
Stuart
that was such a good ride thank you - i liked getting to the look out before it was dark...I didn't like the fact that the rest of you simply will not bring a beer with you, so i missed Greg!
Hope Tien you are ok today!
MEEE
well, if I would do the night rides, we could have the "Home Brew"...
What was wrong this morrning?
Bernd
YUM!! We may have to run a ride around that especially!
what do you mean, what was wrong this morning?!
