Morgan Road, Belrose. At the second 90 degree right hand bend in the road. There's an area just before you can park and a firetrail heading off to the left.

Who is this course for?

~ Are you an experienced rider who has tried downhilling & wants to get into something more radical?
~ Do the downhill sections of your favourite trail get your adrenaline pumping?
~ Are you interested in developing more DH and freeride skills?
~ Do you want to ride with other MTB riders at your skill level?
~ Do you want to start going faster downhills and over those drops?
~ This is your first step to ride like Nathan Rennie.

The course

This course is specifically aimed at taking those with some technical skills to the world of DH and freeriding. Covering the basics of DH riding, Learning to Fly introduces the techniques needed when the trail gets steep and technical and you want to take it fast.

The course aims to improve your riding, balance, technical aptitude speed and skills. Class sizes are small so that you get personalised attention and tuition. Activities are developed and suitable for your level of experience.

We have fully trained, accredited, professional and friendly staff who will ensure you enjoy the experience of learning how to improve your riding.

~ Basics-how to ride downhill
~ Descending like a downhiller
~ Introductory downhill cornering
~ Roots & how to tackle them
~ Tackling obstacles
~ Negotiating small/medium drops safely
~ Technical braking
~ Landing jumps
