When:
Sunday, 16 May, 2010 - 09:30
Duration:
2 hours
Come Rain or Shine:
I'll be there, no matter what the weather.
Ride Database Entry:
Ourimbah State Forest
Meeting Point:

North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.

Red Hill Road, NSW @-33.275884,151.377053
Details:

Awesome race at the best track around (ok, so I'm biased). Come along and race, and be home for lunch. Please park at the upper car park, I believe the lower one shouldn't be used by MTB riders any more.

XC Race day Fees are $15.00 plus an additional $15 for an MTBA day license if you don't have one. Registration is from 8am, racing starts at 9.30 sharp.

What's the track like for the short course event? Go straight from Burnt forest to Jelly Leg, cut out graveyard, short meadows? Anyone competed in this race before?

looking forward to it, I was a bit worried earlier in the day as I rode oxford falls and bent my rear derailer and sliced my rear shifter cable but i have been tinkering and bending stuff since getting home and the bike will work good enough hopefully to be able to compete even without the gears working at 100%. Its all about the fun and enjoyment of the day.
