Hey everyone,

was riding at red hill last week, planning on riding the dh trail, but couldnt find it anywhere (found the dj's easily and had a good session there Laughing out loud) so if sombody would be able to give me a more in depth description of the location of the dh trail than the red hill page, that would be great

thanks

I have gone down one that was about 150m up the fire trail from the road where everyone parks. Its on the right hand side and there seems to be a few trials in. It is defiantly a downhill track, but not used too often so over grown and there were plenty of spiders and spiders webs when my mate went down in front of me. The low light was getting completely lost too and making the guy who agreed to pick us up down the bottom wait about 40mins.
Plenty of good downhill trials in there though. YOu just have to find your way around and send someone down to sweep up the spiders.

Yeah Benny found the 'old' downhill trails at red hill. They used to be quite good and well ridden but the exit to the trail was closed off down at Little Willandra Road in Cromer and the trails have since grown over.

The dh trails are still good, you just need to exit at the Fire Station. There's a fire road about mid way down that comes straight out onto it. Not as good as the old exit which was further down, but still better than nothing.

Good to get crew riding here to keep it from getting completely overgrown Smiling

There are actually 3 other DH tracks but they are no where near the dirt jumps!

when putting up informal trail details on line.

Best to pm if you are a trusted member, or talk to DHers on the trails Smiling

Hopefully one day they all can be official and beefed up to IMBA standards.
