Thu 22 Feb - Night Ride
Bike is in the shop otherwise I'd join the night ride tomorrow.
Given that, anyone feel like something Thursday evening? How about a cheeky couple of laps of Manly Dam? Perhaps even a 7pm meet/7:15 start to get one light, one dark-ish?
Or talk us into Cascades from Wyatt/Ralston.

the 19th Feb is actually tonight!!
couldn't resist!
Doh! Fixed now - so no-one will know what you're talking about
"I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove anything."
(unfortunately no prizes for guessing this quote)
A couple of us were already planning on riding the dam on thursday, we were planning on starting between 5.30-5.45, you are all more than welcome to join us. If this is to early maybe we we could meet up at 7.00 for an extra lap with you.
Hey Bruce, I can maybe make 5:45 so would be cool to join you. I have to get out of the office and over to BA to collect bike from there. Then hit the Dam.
Reckon I can make it, but if am not there and don't TXT then don't wait (it means I've been way-laid and will set off later).
See you at the Lab.
Cheers!
See you there
Also going toy shopping at BA before ride.
So what time is the most popular start time? I could do the 7:00
Greg
Well, given what Bruce said, I'm aiming for 5:45. Means you can easily get 2 laps in before dark.
Plus, means I have to get away from the office early - oh, what a shame
Doesn’t everyone work 7:30am to 6:30pm ?
Greg, you need to get a proper job mate with sensible hours! Just got myself a big suspension bike so watch out ourimba!
I'm just looking at the rain radar for the last half an hour. Heavy rain is coming in fast from the West
Although I'll still go collect the bike from BA, won't be riding if it starts to rain.
Very, very nice evening in the end, despite a few drops of rain start of the first lap:

Well, I would say that, because of this
Oh, the end of the first lap was also quiet surreal. The boardwalk there was slippery as ice, coming round the last right hand on them managed to lock up both wheels and began to fall over to the right. I put my right hand out to stop the impact with the ground. It must have been just 10cm or so from touching when the wheels hit a bit of grip and I was flung back upright, struggling to control direction with the left hand. Apparently Bruce had a similar experience - watch those boards when they are damp!
Thank you to Carolin & Rob for a great ride last night. Still cant get the grin of my face after getting up the rocks.
Yes dude, you were my inspiration
Erm... no, not in that way!
are so sweet . Lovely!
Well done though!
Was good fun and finally the long hill is becoming easier, was about time!
lucky you threw in that last bit, was getting a little worried
