Later on, you can see two riders (2 & 3) emerging from the rocky forest, where they were probably chased by bears hired by the organizers. That's how hard these guys were.

Those guys must have been so tough, makes me think twice how lucky we are to have the modern bikes we have got now. Never complaining about my gears, brakes or suspension again Smiling

After seeing how hard it is to ride one of those bikes on thursday night, I have a new found respect for anyone who can ride them.

Was it just me or did they seem to be carrying their bikes more than they were riding them?

What would you rather? Ride cyclocross or get a kick in the nuts? Hard call. I would rather have walked.
