It is the world cup, it's suppose to be the best of the best I reckon that looks cool and no doubt the climb up is killer but what caught most out was da mudd

that mud shot is awesome.
What is incredible though, is that its still the same guys that win.
I know start grid is essential, but these guys are lapping Aus's best after only half the race!
I promise you that Burry Stander has not grown up racing in mud - so how does he still nail it.
The world top 15 are just a completely different league. I struggle to understand it frankly.
That's some pretty techy XC riding. Looks awesome!
You know what - people complain that Hammerhead at Stromlo is tough for an XC course.
If you dont ride Hammerhead, there is no way in hell you could ride this....
I reckon if you can ride the Stromlo WC XC course without dabbing (including the descent after Cardiac climb), then you could move on to Champery.

LOL, no need for a kick stand... haha

There is no money in XC in Australia therefore our best guys get lured to road teams.
A top 50 roadie can make reasonable money where as there's probably only 1 or 2 Aussie XCers who can make a (poor) living out of the sport
