Asking a massive favour!
Hi All,
I'm posting here as I'm hoping someone can help me out. I know it's really late notice, and my chances are probably pretty slim, but I might as well ask and see what happens.
I'm hoping I can borrow someone's DH bike for some riding on Saturday. It would need to me a Small sized bike, or smallish Medium would probably also work...
So, here's the longer version of the story...
My work is having it's annual product conference this week, and one of brand reps is out from the US. For those into their outdoor gear & clothing, the guy in question is from Outdoor Research. So we're all at the pub last night, and it turns out he's an avid DH'er back home. My other colleagues are taking him out climbing on Saturday arvo, followed by a footy game on Saturday night, but on Saturday morning I'm hoping to show him some of what Sydney has to offer in the DH & FR stakes. He's heading off on Sunday morning on his way back homewards.
Now, of course, he hasn't brought a bike along, as he has a few stops going on, and a bag of sample gear already weighing a fair ton. So I'm trying to borrow a bike for Saturday to help him out! The reason I'm needing smaller sized frame is that he's about 5'7", so a smaller bike would suit him better, especially at Oxy & perhaps another trail in that area. He weighs in at about 72kg - 75kg (he says 160-165lbs).
I know my chances are riding pretty slim (towards none), especially given the short notice, but we'd both be greatly appreciative, and I'm sure I could find something to make it worth your while if you're able to help me out.
Oh, and is anyone else up for a ride on Saturday morning at Oxy? See:

Heya All,
Thanks for all the support through PMs Got the bike sorted. As fate would have it though, it's turned out that my mate cannot change his flight, so is heading back tomorrow morning.
Cheers again though! See you on the trails
