Awaba XC Length

Yellow=6km?,blue=8.something? and the red at the moment is 10.8km?, com on sammydog help me here(drinking Rum & cokes)

That's pretty much it. Blue loop is 8.6pm I think and the red loop has it's first extension almost ready. When compete I Rhein the red loop will be close to 14km.

Then we start building the fun stuff up the hill.

Hey, another question

Hey, another question Sammydog..

If you were going to stay in a basic hotel, somewhere near/between Awaba and Glenrock, with access to get some dinner and beers, would you have any recommendations?

...also is there a 3rd riding destination around there (not including Ourimbah) that's legal?

I think Awaba XC is so sweeeeet.

I hate the accommodation

I hate the accommodation question. Despite living here all my life, I struggle to answer the question on where to stay.

The CBD of Newcastle (or even hamilton) is only 45mins from Awaba, Charlestown 35mins and places like Toronto 15mins. I'd be looking in those areas.

Place like Hamilton, or even Warners Bay have a lot of options for food (restaurants ranging from takaway to very very nice).

Looking at your brief of Mid Way, Beers and food......maybe try here http://www.warnersatthebay.com.au/ worth it for the bottle shop with 700 types of beer. That place only sticks in my mind because its around the corner from me. Foods OK, its got a pub with bands, its got accommodation. Its probably 30mins from Awaba and 15mins from Glenrock. Easy to find if you use the east lakes exit off the freeway.

Red = 1.2km Kids & Warm Up
Yellow = 6Km
Blue = 8.2Km
Red = 10.2Km

I took a photo of the colour coded sign by the start when I was last there 3 weeks ago but for the life of me, I can't upload it 'cos Awaba State Forest has disappeared from the image library listing! (Rob help?).
