i did the 30 k last year, and a lot of it was on private land, so you probably wont be able to do the 30 k bit, but i think the rest of the 60 k is on public land, not 100% on access though......

Just check last years times seem a very fast race . I'll just wing it ...How was the 30 last year and r you racing this year ?

I did the 60 last year and if you know where to go you should be able to ride a fair bit of the main course. But as Tomojo said there is a bit of private land in it as well (near the winery). This will not be accessable until race day.
See you out there next week

Its a lot of fire trail and dirt road.. a real lot of fire trail and dirt road, but the downhill dirt road section has to be the fastest I have ever been on a mountain bike on a gravel road.. ( twice !)
We had a blast hanging out after in the sun with the live music and lemonade(s), if only it weren't for the angry doctor being on the same weekend 8-(

i think they're running it in reverse this year, so we might be climbing that bit :S

Riding up that hill? now that would just be kinda hard!
I thought it was the most fun part of the ride, Yengo may be more fun in reverse though?
