Whats your price range and also do you really care about how much it will weigh

Frenchy's picture

price range would be up to $2500. Weight isn't really a factor, i can always swap out parts to make it lighter.

Check the bay for some pricing

The pricing doesn't bother me too much, if i can't afford the bike i choose right now it just means i will have to wait a few weeks till i can save the money.
I'm just looking for a general idea of what a good bike to get into DH would be.

if you are going for down hill you really want to get a triple crown on the front with lots of travel and a nice fat rear shock and spring
depending on what brand for entry level you would be looking at a start of about $3k

Kona
Specialised
Giant

have good downhill bike setups

How would an Ironhorse Sunday compare to them?

It would be more expensive - lol

A mate just picked up an A spec GT Fury for $4500.

Thats about $1k more than a Glory and a whole lot more bike for your dosh.
