Cheap frames on eBay
So, there are these cheap carbon frames on eBay that look like a real bargain.

There are a few things online about them, most people that have taken the gamble seem to be happy. Of coruse the real worry would be having it snap in half while riding it but I cab't find any of those horror stories.
I was thinking of replacing the Kona frame I use on my comuter bike and this looks nice and light.
Does anyone know anything about these, or know anyone that has build one up?

Looks like an interesting option for a commuter frame. The geo does seem quite small to me though, relative to most other frame manufacturers, especially in the TT measurements...
Generally I hit up medium frames, but going by the TT lengths on the Geo chart, I'd be wanting the 21" frame, but then I'd be worried it's too tall...
If you do bite the bullet and hit it up, let us all know how you go!
You're a bit taller than me - the largest of those sizes @570mm top tube is borderline too short.

Check out this thread ^ Ive been following it for ages. Im going to make a Carbon SS.
Alot of info about them. Pics, measurements, specs.
People have used them to race, commute, ride after a year and still going on strong.
Before you buy that. I'm just about to list my carbon single speed on here and eBay. Craig gordons old Cannondale taurine with rigid carbon fork and loads of bling!
8.1kg without pedals! Most parts are like new or have only been ridden twice. Let me know if you're interested. It's a medium frame.
I reckon it would be too small for Toast!
He's deceptively tall...
Following some of the comments in that thread, I had a quick look at eBay US, and there's plenty of options there, and plenty of options that are better (read: non-mini) sizing...

That, and they're far cheaper too, coming in at around $300 total!
Bear in mind the frame geo for the original link appears to be the actual tt length, not the equivalent horizontal measurement.
I think this is why the numbers seem so small. Factor this in and they'll probably end up around the same as these other frames. Would want to double check before buying though.
Yeah he ditched the Cannondale to ride a Giant now
think it was the other way round Buck!
Rockstar tried to get a deal with Cannondale but were turned down. thats why they went to Scott!
And now Giant it seems.

saw Troy riding a Giant a while ago and wondered why?
