Hey Jono - I am off work till 6th Dec and am looking at doing all the trails around the place including Red Hill (if it ever dries up). I am balancing riding and new bub so timings are scetchy.

I dont think there is rideable trail between Cascades and Red Hill. Morgan Rd (via Oxford Falls) is the best bet, but you get a big walk up hill into Red Hill at the start (no fun).

I have been doing a lot of Cascades/St Ives lately. Might see you out there. PM or text me me if you want to go for a spin.

It's gonna take a while for Red Hill to dry out.
You can link Cascades to Red Hill by going via Oxford Falls firetrail and then up into Red Hill through the sport and rec centre- you can enter by going up Cromer connector or Drop Zone.

How many days like this would it take to dry up?

Been so slack, got a puncture the other day and havent repaired it yet. Chances are i probably will see you around the cascades, what route do you ride jacojoco?

I rode from Belrose to Oxford Falls and Red Hill and back yesterday. I did 25 Km and it took 3 hours. It involved a lot of walking along Deep Creek and Red Hill and by the time I got back to Morgan road at 1pm I was walking back up the hill to Belrose. It was a good ride but just too hot yesterday. I wanted to trial it by myself before going with anyone else to get the directions sorted.

Red Hill is dry enough to ride. It has coped well.

When I ride Cascades I start at Ralston Ave, go down Heath track, up Quarry Track then across to Acron Oval, then down Cascades then down Lower Cambourne then along Bare Creek track to Cascades, then up and out at Davidson. Its a 20 km loop for me and basically a figure 8. Its got 2 big hill and 2 good downhills. It takes me just over an hour and exhausts me.
