Got to head to NZ this weekend instead of riding the half fling, even had a comfy bed in the Bundanoon hotel lined up for Saturday night. Too late for transfers and 'no refund' policy at the hotel.

So what happens at registration when they have to produce ID?
i have never been asked for ID at event rego, just say your name or look up your name and give them your number and thats it.
I've been asked numerous times at various events.
not that I would condone this, but dont even enter into a discussion about whether you are whomever at Rego.
Just claim that you are registering on behalf of the original owner. Problem solved, and really, its even a big lie.
I've read the terms and conditions and they don't mention ID which I assumed they would too. Personally I wouldn't risk it but I'm a cautious fellow
