Dumb question

Guys need all new drive train for my Specialized XC Comp.
Want to order from overseas.
How do I find out exactly what I have on there already as I want to order the exact same cassette, chain rings etc.
Probably a stupid question but as I'm also in the middle of building a house and need about 50 hours in every day to get it finished I don't have time to pull the bike to bits for no result.
Cheers fellas....er....and ladies.

Since I have a bit of time on my hands, (although I should be looking for a job!) and knowing the pressure you're under at the moment, thought I'd do a bit of research.

Assuming your bike is the '06 model? bikepedia says,

Components
Component Group Shimano Deore
Brakeset Avid BB-5 disc front/Avid BB-5 disc rear brakes, Avid FR-5 levers
Shift Levers Shimano Deore RapidFire
Front Derailleur Shimano Deore, bottom-pull/clamp-on 34.9mm
Rear Derailleur Shimano Deore LX
Crankset Shimano Deore, 22/32/44 teeth
Pedals Shimano PD-M505 SPD
Bottom Bracket Shimano BB-ES30, 118mm spindle
BB Shell Width 68mm English
Rear Cogs 9-speed, 11 - 34 teeth
Chain SRAM PC-951

The relevant ones I have bolded and generally it looks like the Deore set apart from brakes and chain for some reason. The problem you might have is things have changed a bit since then and it might not be possible to get the exact same bits, e.g. the new Deore might be slightly different (shape/size whatever) than the one you have.

In this case I guess it all comes down to how much you want to spend.

Always an opportunity to upgrade too......

As you are aware, I'm certainly no expert but am happy to help and it would be quite interesting to go through the process of replacing all the bits esp. attractive on someone elses bike Sticking out tongue. To that end, I have just bought a cheapy bike repair toolkit thingy which is on it's way so you can borrow if you need.

PS don't forget I have your shock pump, I should really get that back to you too!

Thanks for your help guys.
Will see if I get a response to the same question from Chain Reaction with a recommendation.

Oh.....and I wondered where my shock pump had gone !!!
