Manly Dam ride on Boxing Day?

Am thinking about a training ride on Sunday morning around Manly Dam to blow the cobwebs out and burn off a bit of the lard accumulated the previous day. Smiling

Forecast for the 26th was 33 degrees last time I looked, so starting on the early side would probably be better. Pace will probably be around the 45-50 minute mark. Would like to do two, and perhaps three laps depending on how I'm feeling.

Any takers? Smiling

2 or 3 laps in 45-50 minutes is seriously fast! Smiling

was thinking of going to glenrock but dont have the time as I am going further north later in the week ,so couple of laps around the dam sounds good I'm assuming 45 mins per lap is what you mean which sounds comfortable what time are you starting? early is good for me.

LOL Very funny, guys. Smiling If I could do 50 minutes for two laps I'd be ... very happy. Sticking out tongue

I'm thinking 7:30 at the hydro lab or thereabouts, but open to negotiation. If you can make it craked it would be good to put a face to the name. Smiling

i could well be tempted - if i can persuade my mates who i'm going on a road trip with to stall the start of our road trip til after a few laps of manly dam.

i'll test the water and let you know

i've not riden there before but race back home and can carry a pretty good pace when the weather's not too hot, if i start lagging you're welcome to just leave me

Put me down as confirmed. I'm already packing on Christmas lard in anticipation. It will be good to put a few names to faces
