Knapsack STP
NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
I know a pump track/skills park is an idea we can dream about. But to add to my dreaming, I finally found a video that shows the kind of skills park I'd also like to have alongside a pump track.

That would be great for the Muni.
How good is this concept obviously Europe but what a fantastic venue, the climbs up the back fixed to the wall, this is really quite impressive, the way that all the obstacles are low you still gain the skills with out the big price to pay if you make an error, we should defintely lobby for this type of thing at the STP, I reckon we would have a better chance of getting something there if we concentrate our approach to using the perimiter off the site and also having our structure modular so that in the event that we need to move things we can, it will also give scope to periodically chnging the layout which will keep regular users interested and prevent the potential of becoming bored with the layout over time.
Nice Stuff Tim really like it!
It's actually in Canada, they also have a pump track, jumps and a foam pit to try out new tricks without the worry of landing. All this under the one roof!

Does anyone know what the plan is for the STP?
It is uncertain what the future plans for the STP are, but we have expressed interest as stakeholders to the council.
Feel free to write an email to the councillors to make your own enquiry about the site and express your interest as a unicyclist. Knapsack falls under the Fourth Ward.
