A quick report from our pointscore officer and timing chief,

A great day of racing was had today. The new XC co-ordinator endeared himself to all A, B and C grade riders by not including the climb up Camelback - many thanks Rossco! Just a few points from todays race:

1. In total we had 132 riders - that has to be close to a club record for a club race! A lot a new people turned up to race and that was great to see.

2. LOST PROPERTY - I have a pair of glasses (clear lense reading glasses) that were handed in. Drop me an email (see pointscore officer on contacts page) and I'll try to get them back to you.

3. LOST PROPERTY - I have a single small girls pink glove that was handed in.

4. LOST PROPERTY - my son lost a single glove - 661 full finger, black. If you have it, please let me know.

5. Big THANKS to my wife and daughter for timekeeping today. (We will need a volunteer for next race - please let me know if you can help out)

6. DNF - If for some reason you don't finish the race, please let the timekeepers know! This saves us having to send out a search party, and saves me a lot of effort when processing the results.

7. When you finish the race, please make sure you ride past the timekeepers, then move away from the finish area so they can see the next riders coming.

8. Race Numbers - If you have a stash of old numbers at home, please bring them back - we need them! Also, when you put them on your bike, make sure they are easy to read and there are no cables in front of them.

9. Pre-registration - Please use this facility to save time queuing up on the morning of race day. It also makes it easier for those of us trying to get everyone registered before the race. Keep an eye on the website in the week leading up to the next race.

10. Results - I am going to try and attach them to this post. If that doesn't work, I will email them to someone who can put them in the "Results" section.

Hope to see some of you out there next time. Might even make a cameo myself.

I wish CCOMTB were that quick at posting results. 8 days have passed since rd 1 and still nothing.
